Prattheeba Suthaharan - Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications
Prattheeba Suthaharan is a clinical research professional with 10 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in optometry and neuropsychiatry. She has worked in patient care, operations, and professional education, and has mentored future optometrists. Her expertise includes myopia control, dry eye management, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Clinical Vision Research, graduating with Highest Honors. For her graduate research, she explored how the shape of the cornea, including summed relative corneal refractive power (sRCRP), can be used to help predict success in children undergoing myopia control treatment with orthokeratology (Ortho-K).
Prattheeba is passionate about making research meaningful to patients and families. She finds the most rewarding part of her work in helping people access new treatments, contributing to the growth of the profession, and ensuring every participant feels truly seen, heard, and cared for at Oculus Research Inc.
