Our Internship Program

Oculus Research offers internships for individuals seeking experience in clinical research. The internship is open to anyone but may be especially useful for students in a high school medical program or a college degree program who are moving toward a career in the medical field. We offer hands-on training and experience in all facets of clinical research. Internships are tailored to the needs of each individual intern, including the requirements of the program they may be involved in, and the length of their internship. Shorter internships may include shadowing a Principal Investigator and Research Staff during research subject visits, training on data collection and data entry, and patient care. Long-term internships may include Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and certification, being delegated for certain tasks on clinical trials, training on data collection and data entry, regulatory procedures, subject recruitment, attending site qualification visits, and site initiation visits. Internships can be combined with an eyecare center internship which would include technician training, optical sales, front desk duties, medical billing, and vision insurance training. College students may receive credit towards their degree, depending on their college degree program.
